Dashboard Mounting Disk | Sticky Pad for Suction Holders (Pack of 3)

Damned sticky!

This suction mounting pad for cell phone dashboard holders is a really good product. But for my needs it was lacking in one very key area, no adhesion to the cars dashboard. This was not due to the 3M adhesive disk side, but instead due to the less than perfectly smooth dashboard surface of my car. The dashboards surface had a texture to it so the adhesive was not capable of creating a secure, stuck on disk. This absolutely needs to be mentioned in the products description it was not anywhere.Plus I wasnt paying real close attention and didnt notice this product order . When I was looking for a second back up cell phone mounting disk and saw the products picture I thought: wow that looks exactly like the one I already have plus you get two. Thats not the case. You only are buying a single mounting disk. The products picture shows the front and back of the disk. So when you dont pay close attention fully read the descriptions you may interpret the front and back images as indicating your buying two disks as I did

Our suction cup phone holder works really well w this stick on disk. The problem is that my husband had to purchase 3M sticky squares and cut them to fill in the gap. If we did not so this, the disk would not stick well enough to hold the phone. It would tilt forward and start peeling off of the dash. After adding additional sticky pad to the bottom, it works ok.********* AMENDMENT*********The company reached out to me about my experience w their product. They offered a full refund or a replacement sticky pad. I chose the sticky pad and they are shipping it to me free of charge. They were super helpful and friendly. Willing to do what it takes to make their product and service better.
